It is that innate survival instinct that provides a certain balance to my journey. That, and an ability to find humor in anything. I mean, take this pandemic for instance. It is horrible on too many levels to list. While I believe there are many good and decent people doing their part to help others and be part of the cure, there are many who are channeling their worst tendencies.
What I mean is that we have an unholy infusion of a world plague infecting millions and killing hundreds of thousands, international and national politics of blame, attention whores battling for credit for the smallest effort, numbskulls who would rather see people die than temporarily sacrifice their freedoms and luxuries and toilet paper, essential products and PPE hoarders who often price gouge and profit from misery. All that being said, when the concept of social distancing became a present necessary way of life, I was like, “Bitch please, I’ve been social distancing since birth. Metaphorically speaking, I always dance under the exit sign.” Humor is one of my defense mechanism which keeps me from falling apart.
Rather than beginning by stating my interpretation, I will present the evidence in a logical sequence, laying down guiderails for you to follow and experience the revelation as though you were discovering it yourself. Now that’s what I call interactive entertainment!
