One inexpensive, but very valuable thing, is HELP.
Shovel that old lady’s driveway. Salt that old man’s walk. Sweep that porch.
DO those dishes, well, and on time. And without grumbling or breakage. And without being asked. Sometimes, the simplest things…..
Rake those leaves, mow that lawn, irrigate.
Wash and clean and detail the car. Do the windows. Do the vacuuming.
Drive someone to appointments. Help someone with the groceries.
Think of something you would like someone to help you with. Now, flip it. Help someone else.
With luck, they will notice and appreciate, maybe even thank!
And if not, well as Marcus Aurelius would say: You have still made the world a better place for them.
