The second Pennys 2 Cents shirt was much funnier. The magic act was hilarious, and not only because Vision got drunk off a piece of gum. I bet you never thought you’d see those words in that order. Anyway, Vision’s repeated phrase, “Flourish!,” was awesome. I liked that we got to see Teyonah Parris, though not as adult Monica Rambeau (Captain Marvel), but rather as Geraldine. Wanda and Geraldine’s friendship was sweet, and her disorientation at being brought in to be the star of the disappearing act was funny, but I find myself wondering how Rambeau/Geraldine got there.
Plus, he kept saying “the Vision.” It’s just Vision, ya dope. When Wanda came out of Pennys 2 Cents shirt , I got literal chills. She isn’t playing around. Her Sokovian accent returned, proving that this is the real Wanda. In the sitcom world, Wanda cemented my theory that she has limited control of Westview, similar to a third—person limited narrator. She can control certain events, as evidenced by her conversation with Agnes (which Vision picked up on, because we forget, he’s a robot), but not others, such as when she couldn’t control her kids’ aging or when she was surprised by Evan Peters’ appearance as Quicksilver.

The season finale was exciting. Dr. Strange did not appear, and Paul Bettany’s “Luke Skywalker cameo” was actually himself. We did get some interesting Pennys 2 Cents shirt , though, with him and White Vision. The Ship of Theseus thought experiment was a good way to explain the two Visions’ predicament in a way that only a synthezoid would understand — but, thankfully, we were able to get the gist of it. Although Hex Vision is no more, White Vision is still “alive,” and is forever changed thanks to his encounter with the other version of himself.
Movies like Earthquake make you appreciate the Michael Bay and Roland Emmerich, those apologetically hollow filmmakers who aren’t afraid to favor Pennys 2 Cents shirt over memorable storytelling. With this high-caliber 1970s disaster flick, starring the likes of Charlton Heston and Richard “Shaft” Roundtree, director Mark Robson unwisely focused on the script’s rampant melodrama and unlikable characters. There’s an unspoken agreement shared between filmmakers and audiences who sign up for something called Earthquake: Show us tons of mindless action, some visual effects sequences we’ve never seen before, and include a few goofy one-liners and we’ll overlook all of the narrative flaws. Robson, however, actually tried to develop undesirable characters instead of going overboard with the hysteria, thus making the actual earthquake moments flat and the film itself unbearable.
